For this episode of Our Community, Our Business we’re trying something a little different. On May 3rd the Hawthorn Huddle focused on Domestic ViolenceĀ in Minneapolis. Hawthorne hosted a panel with EB Brown and Pethuel L. Cole from Oasis of Love, Liz Richards from the Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women and Jewelean Jackson, a valued community member. They have information about what Domestic Abuse is, the effects of Domestic Abuse, resources in the community that can be helpful when you need them, and how you can be of help to those experiencing Domestic Violence.
