Monthly Huddle meetings feature a materials-sharing table – please feel free to bring info you’d like to share – please also take back with you any materials not picked up by 9 AM, after people have had a chance to look over the info table.
Please refrain from passing out informational materials during the meeting (unless you are a presenter).
Friends of the Hawthorne Huddle,
On May 3rd we will focus on Domestic Violence in Minneapolis. EB Brown and Pethuel L. Cole from Oasis of Love, Liz Richards from the Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women and Jewelean Jackson, a valued community member and regular Huddle attender will be on the panel. They will have information about what Domestic Violence is, what the effects of Domestic Violence are, resources in the community that can be helpful when you need them, and how you can be of help to those experiencing Domestic Violence.
The Hawthorne Huddle will be held from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room at Fairview Park, 621 29th Avenue North. A continental breakfast will be available at 7:15 a.m.
